Features

The spiral classifier produced by Hongxing Machinery is widely used for separating the sand in the ore beneficiation plant to equip with ball mill to form a closed cycle, for classifying ore sand and fine silt in the gravity separation plant, for the granularity classification of the pulp in the metal ore beneficiation flow and for removing the slime and water in the ore washing process. Hongxing spiral classifier is a kind of grading equipment, which is also can be called screw classifier and screw washing machine,used to the mechanical grading by means of the spiral that will push the materials to the upper to be discharged. Hongxing spiral classifier can filter the powdery materials in the milling equipment and the coarse materials will be screwed into the feeding inlet by the flight and the the filtered fine materials will be discharged from the overflow tube.

Working Principle:

Spiral classifier is a type of classifying machine that classifies materials based the principle that the solid particles with different sizes and proportions have different falling speed in the liquid, and fine ore particles float in the water and coarse ore particles sink to the bottom of the chute and the coarse ore particles are pushed by the spiral to the upper part and discharged. Hongxing spiral classifier is able to filter the powdery particle crushed by the grinding mill and whirl the coarse particles with the spiral to the feeding mouth of the grinding mill and discharge the filtered fine particles.

Spiral separator is large grading equipment. This machine classifies materials according to the different sizes and proportions of solid particles.

The structure of screw classifier is very simple. It is composed of a large shell and screwy device. The flights rotate slowly driven by the motor during working. Then the heavy materials sink into the bottom and the light materials float on the water. The two parts are separated after grading.

Spiral classifiers have many types after years of developing. The are some common types: high weir spiral washer, submerged spiral separator, single rotary separator, and double screw separator. In addition, double spiral classifier has a same structure with single spiral classifier except that double spiral classifier has two spiral slices and greater capacity per unit time.
