Beneficiation production line is composed by a series of ore processing plants. Ore beneficiations are different according to different production process.
There are two common beneficiation production process: magnetic separation process and flotation process.
In the flotation beneficiation process, selecting magnetic separation process or flotation process is depended on the ores that need be selected. Generally speaking,
Magnetic metal ores mostly use magnetic separation process. And non-magnetic substances or other non-metallic substances usually use flotation process.
The commonly used ore processing plants are: Jaw crusher, feeder, ball mill, classifier, magnetic separator, flotation machine, dryer etc.
first, chunks of mined ores enter jaw crusher through vibrating feeder for primary crushing. If the material is still large after crushing, they will need to re-crush. But the ores with a reasonable size after crushing are sent into the ball mill though bucket elevator for grinding operations. Then the ores become slurry after grinding by ball mill. After that, the slurry enters into high- frequency screen for screening. After screening, the pulp is classified by magnetic separator or flotation beneficiation according to the different materials. After processing, the concentrate obtained can be dried by the dryer immediately. What we get after drying is the concentrate.
Iron ore concentration plant is also called iron ore concentrator. The mineral processing methods of the iron ore concentration plant are different from each other according to the components of iron ore. For example, the beneficiation of hematite, pyrite, magnetite ore and other iron ore needs to choose appropriate iron ore screening equipment according to the actual situation. The iron ore screening equipment usually includes ball mill machine, magnetic separator (wet magnetic separator or dry magnetic separator), filter, classifier, etc.
