The spray dryer is a kind of continuous atmospheric dryer. It could spay liquid materials into mist and contact with hot air so that to be dried. It can be used to dry some heat-sensitive liquid, suspension and viscous liquids, such as milk, eggs, tannic and drugs as well as used for dry fuel, intermediates, soap powder, and inorganic salts, etc.
Through a filter and heating, air enters the air distributor on the top of dryer, and hot air spirally and evenly passes into the drying chamber. The feed liquid via high-speed centrifugal atomizer on the top of tower body and spray into very fine mist droplets, which contact with hot air and be dried for the finished product within very short time. Finished products are continuously output from the bottom of drying tower and cyclones, and exhaust is emptied by the induced draft fan. The fan outlet can also be equipped with secondary dust removal device with recoveries of 96-98%.
Drying speed is fast; in hot air flow, 95% -98% of water can be evaporated instantly, especially suitable for the drying of heat-sensitive materials.
