Structure:

The rod mill ,which also can be called rod grinding machine,rod grinder,is formed with feeding part, charging part, cylinder, discharge part and other working part, and bearing part, transmission part, electrical appliance part and foundation part.

 Cylinder is made of steel plates, and the cylinder body often uses waveforms, stepped or wedge liner. There are discrepancy holes on the upper cylinder, which can be used to observe the wear of lining board and grid board, as well as removing the grinding body to replace worn lining board and grid board.

Working principle:

The motor of limestone rod mill drives the cylinder to rotate through speed reducer, and the crushed ore and steel bars in cylinder will be elevated to a certain height by liner through the force of centrifugal and friction when the cylinder is rotating, and then rain down to crush the ore material through gravity. The crushed products will be discharged through the discharging part. The feeder feeds continuously and evenly, and the ore will be fed into the limestone rod mill continuously and evenly by the joint feeder, finally, the crushed products will be discharged continuously from the limestone rod mill. Limestone rod mill is a kind of grinding equipment can continuously work 24 hours per day.

Application:

The pin crusher can be widely used in the processing of quartz sand, dolomite and monazite, ore-dressing of non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals and non-metal, the first-stage ore milling of artificial stone sand, dressing plant, chemical plant and power sector, and the grinding of the chemical industry, building materials and other mineral materials.

Rod grinding machine is a mining machine similar to ball mill. Rod mill is mainly used in mineral processing industry. It can grind different hardness stones. The materials that can be triturated are marbles, limestone, granites, etc.

Rod mill is called rod grinder because of the wear-resistant steel bars fitted in. Grinding rod mill achieves a larger reduction ratio and more uniform fineness with steel rods instead of the ball. Besides, rod mill can avoid the phenomenon that materials are over crushed.
